Twitch and Kick in Pizza House Simulator

Invite chat into the Amalfi kitchen without turning dinner into a disconnect compilation.

Twitch and Kick

Pizza House Simulator is one of the few cooking sims that treats the audience as a mechanic. The Steam page for the 19 August 2026 release says you can invite viewers into the restaurant in real time. Developer notes also mention Kick alongside Twitch. This guide is how to use that without griefing your own save. It is not a streaming-career lecture. If you still cannot host a normal lobby, read Co-op Multiplayer first.

What the feature is for

Viewer drop-ins exist to create unscripted nights: extra hands on dough, extra bodies in doorways, extra disasters because someone found the oven. That is content. It is also load. Every extra player is pathing, networking, and a chance to dump sauce on a ticket they did not read. Treat chat as a sixth co-op seat, not as infinite staff.

Keep integrations off while you learn. Run Getting Started and How to Make Pizza until a lunch is boring. Then run a two-friend lobby from the role planner. Only then add viewers, and add them on a lunch, not a Saturday dinner.

Host settings that save the VOD

The host owns the save and the stream rule. Decide before going live:

  • Maximum extra bodies (one or two, not “whoever redeems”).
  • Whether they may buy, gamble, or touch loans.
  • Whether disasters get played straight or you reset after a fire clip.
  • A mute or kick plan for someone who blocks the peel.

If rubber-banding starts when redeems fire, reduce viewer interactions before you lower shadows. Troubleshooting covers Steam restarts and VPNs; system requirements covers whether the box can even hold a full dining room. Hosting from a Steam Deck while chat joins is a dare.

Jobs for people who just appeared

Do not put a first-time viewer on oven. Oven is the clock. Give them trash, restock, or a clearly labeled dough board with one recipe pinned. Call tickets like a real expo. If they want chaos, sandbox after a story shift. Story mode plus random Kick guests plus a mafia tooltip is how a week of progression evaporates.

Floor coverage still matters. Thieves and unattended counters do not care that it is funny. How to Survive Disasters remains in force. Automation can absorb some of the mess; buy it with the logic in Kitchen Automation, not because chat donated a lamp.

Stream hygiene that is actually kitchen hygiene

Pause habits from solo do not apply. Escape pause lifts when someone joins. If you were in a shop UI, you are now live in the dining room. Tell chat not to join during menus. Match game versions. Disable overlays that steal clicks from the peel.

After the stream, repair everything, restock, and run the first-shift checklist so the next morning’s solo session is not a crime scene. Patch surprises go on launch notes. If you decide the game is a good stream game but a rough solo game, write that energy into how you use the Review Hub—this wiki’s review is for owners, not for clip channels.

If a patch adds extra community platforms, we will name them on launch notes instead of pretending this page already covered them. Until then, treat every extra body as a co-op seat you have to feed, path, and sometimes kick. The Tools Hub will not grow a fake “viewer ROI” calculator. You already know whether the VOD was worth the burnt pies.

More how-tos: Guides Hub. Official store and studio links: Links Hub. This is unofficial; platform ToS for Twitch and Kick still apply to your channel. If Kick and Twitch both fire joins, cap the extra bodies at one until you see hitching. Two platforms is not twice the fun when the stone is already full. The Tools Hub will not grow a fake viewer calculator.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers drawn from the kitchen loop, co-op lobbies, and economy systems.

Should I enable viewer join on my first stream?

No. Learn the loop, host a friend lobby, then add one viewer on a lunch shift.

Why does the kitchen lag when chat joins?

Extra bodies plus effects plus a weak host. Cut redeems first, then check system requirements and VPN use.

Can viewers tank my story save?

Yes, if they can buy, gamble, or ignore fires. Limit permissions and keep a backup plan for the host save.
