Pizza House Simulator First-Shift Checklist

A repeatable open-to-close ritual for the family shop on the Amalfi Coast.

First-Shift Checklist

Print this or pin it. Pizza House Simulator launched on Steam on 19 August 2026. The first shift is where owners either learn the loop or decorate a failing room. This checklist compresses Getting Started and How to Make Pizza into actions. Co-op groups should still fill the role planner first.

Before the door

  • Walk freezer, board, oven, pass, bins, dining room.
  • Confirm dough, oil, and sauce-powder containers are not showing empty meshes.
  • Pin one recipe family. You are not a tasting menu tonight.
  • Glance at weather and whether the radio is already threatening a strike.
  • Solo: know that Escape pauses, and that a friend join will unpause.
  • Co-op: same build, same mode (story versus sandbox), host owns the save.
  • Stream: integrations off unless this is a dedicated chaos lunch. See Twitch and Kick.

During service

  • Batch to the oven, not to your anxiety. Stone full means board stop. Rush Hour.
  • Sauce inside the crust. Cook the pin, not a remix.
  • Call table numbers. Walk pies before they cool on the pass.
  • Repair coughs immediately. Disasters are cheaper when they stay theoretical.
  • Dump bins on lulls. Full trash is a pathing trap.
  • Collect the counter ledger when you see it. Do not AFK in the freezer.
  • Do not open loans, stocks, or slots until this list is boring. Playstyles.

After the last ticket

  • Repair every sick station.
  • Restock the three dry-out containers.
  • Clear bins and tables.
  • Name the bottleneck in one sentence.
  • Buy one thing that attacks that sentence, using kitchen upgrades and Kitchen Automation.
  • Cosmetics only if the sentence was about atmosphere, not tickets.

Optional night-two addons

  • Add a second recipe family.
  • Name a repair person if you are three or more.
  • Read launch notes if something felt like a bug (money reset, join error, collision).
  • If the game will not start tomorrow, skip this list and use troubleshooting plus system requirements.

What this checklist is not

It is not a speedrun. It is not a profit spreadsheet. It is the ritual that keeps an unofficial wiki useful after the novelty of the Amalfi lighting wears off. When the ritual is automatic, you are allowed to care about mottos, holidays, and whether the Review Hub still matches your save. Repeat the bullets on day ten: restock, wrench, one purchase. Shopping during tickets is how fires start, not a playstyle. If a patch changes pause, join, or money-on-save, read launch notes and add a private line rather than waiting for a new gadget on this site.

More tools: Tools Hub. How-tos: Guides Hub. Kitchen catalog: Kitchen Hub. Store and demo: Links Hub. If you hosted, tell the crew the bottleneck out loud before anyone alt-tabs. Silence is how six people buy six lamps. One sentence, one purchase, then go home. Repeat the bullets on day ten even after the fountain unlocks. Write the date of the shift on the note so you can see whether the same bottleneck repeats three nights in a row. A repeating bottleneck is an upgrade. A one-off is a mistake. That distinction is the whole point of keeping a paper list next to a video game oven. If the same sentence appears three closes in a row, stop decorating and buy the station that failed.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers drawn from the kitchen loop, co-op lobbies, and economy systems.

How long should the first shift last?

Long enough to open, serve a lunch, and close with repairs. Stop before you add gambling or viewer joins.

What if I fail the checklist?

That is the point. The named bottleneck becomes tomorrow’s upgrade. Do not buy a statue instead.

Can I skip restock if I still have a few pies left?

No. Empty meshes in a rush are a wipe. Restock on lulls even if the board still looks busy.
